Baby Shower Cupcake Toppers

Cupcake Topper
Cupcakes can act as simple decorations, a great snack, as well as double as party favours (just remember to have cello bags with ties to place them for easier transportation). If you are not the best cupcake decorator, or just want to add something a little extra, cupcake toppers are a simple DIY project that can easily be customisable to fit your party theme.

What you need to make cupcake topper:

Card stock or scrapbook paper - in the colour(s) of your choice
2" scalloped paper punch
Round 1 1/2" labels (I used Avery 8293 round labels)
Toothpicks
Printer

How to Make Cupcake Toppers:
Punch as many scalloped circles from the coloured paper as toppers you will need and set aside.

Using a template for your labels design the front and back of your topper.
Or you can download a free modifiable template for the lamb cupcake topper in the picture above.

Print the design on to your labels.

Place front label in the centre of each the scalloped circles you created earlier.

Flip over and place a toothpick on the back of the scalloped circle, about a 1/4 -1/3 the way up. Place the back label over the toothpick to secure.

You are now ready to place in cupcake.
